Empowering Children and Youth through active civic and political engagement and fostering economic skills development
In 2019, the Future Policy Award acknowledged outstanding legislations that not only enhance(s) the skills of young (individuals) people, but also enabling them to thrive in the job market and empowers them to contribute as co-creators of a sustainable and green economy. Only 2.2% of parliamentarians around the world are under 30 years old. The Future Policy Award also celebrated laws and frameworks that effectively promote the social and political participation of youth and young people, emphasizing their role in shaping a better future.
