Common security, conflict resolution and war prevention
Human security, peace and sustainable development cannot be achieved primarily through military means, or independently by nations, but require international law, diplomacy and disarmament.
Prevent (Nuclear) War
Our vision is the peaceful resolution of international conflicts, prevention of war and achievement of a nuclear weapons-free-world.
The Path to Peace
We are working toward United Nations’ goal to prevent war, resolve conflicts peacefully, achieve security without reliance on the threat or use of force.
Strong Partnerships
We work closely with our partners from all over the world, across projects and initiatives.

Move the Nuclear Weapons Money
Move the Nuclear Weapons Money is a project and international campaign to: cut nuclear weapons budgets; encourage and facilitate divestment from companies manufacturing nuclear weapons and their delivery systems; and reallocate these budgets and investments to meet economic, social and environmental need – such as ending poverty, protecting the climate, supporting renewable energy, creating jobs, and providing adequate healthcare, housing and education for all.

More InformationThe Bread Tank
In 2011 global military spending amounted to $1.74 trillion – despite the fact that 1 billion people suffer from hunger, still more have no access to safe water or adequate health care and education. Disarmament is a necessary condition for sustainable development. At Rio+20 in June 2012 we presented a bread tank to underline the realistic possibility of eradicating hunger and extreme poverty by redirecting military spending. Watch our film and follow the bread tank on its journey through Rio!
