How does the WFC work?
The World Future Council consists of the Council, the Supervisory Board, the Management Board and the employees.
Our Honorary Council and our Ambassadors also enrich our work.
The Council guides and inspires our work: It sets the agenda of our work at the Annual General Meeting.
The Supervisory Board appoints, advises and monitors the Management Board and reports to the Council. The Management Board is in charge of the foundation’s business, supports the commissions in their work, makes operational decisions and manages the employees at the headquarters in Hamburg.
The work is carried out in commissions or project teams, which are active in different subject areas, but nevertheless work together to achieve the goals of the World Future Council. Each commission has one or two members of the council as chairpersons and a team member as coordinator.
