World Future Forum: 9th Annual meeting of the World Future Council in Hamburg

More than 50 Councillors, Ambassadors and members of the Supervisory Board convened for our Annual General Meeting “Identifying Policy Solutions for a World of Growing Disorder and Inter-linked Crises” in Hamburg, Germany from 5-7 March. Councillors and Youth Ambassador Kehkashan Basu will provide keynote speeches and Councillors from all continents provided their view of the future and ways to achieve a peaceful, sustainable and just future.

The World Future Council, founded in 2007 in Hamburg, is actively working in the fields of Climate and Energy, Regenerative Cities, Sustainable Ecosystems, Future Justice, Peace and Disarmament and Sustainable Economies. It identifies the most successful regional, national and international policies in these fields and promotes them in order to solve the most pressing problems of our time. As an example, the work of the Council has greatly contributed to the adoption of Renewable Energy Feed-in Tariff policies in many countries and regions.
