Research Intern on Agroecology – Future Policy Award

Liam joined the World Future Council in November 2018 as a voluntary research intern in the field of agroecology. His passion for and engagement with environment and social justice has come from his studies and work in the fields of education, sustainable development, social and environmental development in the UK, Germany and Peru. Has has an MA in Environment, Development and Policy from University of Sussex (UK) and a BA in Modern Languages 8Spanish, German and French) from Newcastle University (UK). His Master’s thesis focussed on the potential role of environmental documentaries and social networks to spread environmental activism. At the World Future Council and in the future, he is looking forward to combining his love for the environment, education and intercultural communication and as committing these to environmental protection.
