Dr Eduardo Noboa

Senior Programme Manager Climate and Energy  

Dr Eduardo Noboa has been a government official, international consultant, project manager and scientific researcher in the field of climate change and energy sustainability for more than 10 years. He holds a master’s degree in sustainable resource management from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), obtained his MBA in Energy Management at the Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid and completed his PhD in Planning, Policy and Energy Sustainability from the Leuphana University in Luneburg.

Dr Eduardo Noboa is a Former Capacity Building and Applied Research Coordinator in the Sustainable Intermediate Cities Programme at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and is a former Expert Member of the Technology Executive Committee of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

He performed functions such as Renewable Energy and Environment Coordinator at the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE), Undersecretary of State of Climate Change of Ecuador and Executive Director at the National Institute for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy of Ecuador.
