Dear Friends & Supporters,

Jakob von Uexkull, Founder of the World Future Council, has resigned as Chair of the Management Board. As his successors, we know it is difficult to fill such big shoes! Thank you Jakob for your great achievements and tireless efforts for future generations!
In 2019, we at the World Future Council will work towards climate protection, child and youth empowerment, agroecology and peace and disarmament.
A particular highlight will be our “Policy Oscar” later this year, the Future Policy Award, which will be dedicated to youth empowerment. But we already produced a great success in this area this month, when our Rights of Children commission published their Policy Handbook on Advancing Education for Sustainable Development. Find out more in this edition of the newsletter!

Thank you for your attention, and best wishes
  Alexandra Wandel and Joanna Dillig
Management Board
