Ohne die klassischen Sicherheiten zu verlangen, vergibt dieses Institut Mikrokredite an arme Menschen in Bangladesch. F\u00fcr seinen Erfolg in der Linderung von Armut bekam er 2006 den Friedensnobelpreis.<\/p>\n<p>Dipal Chandra Barua ist zudem Gr\u00fcndungsmanager von Grameen Shakti, eines 1996 gegr\u00fcndeten Unternehmens, das die Verbreitung von Solartechnik und die Nutzung erneuerbarer Energie-Quellen in D\u00f6rfern in Bangladesch vorantreibt. Dipal Chandra Barua wurde f\u00fcr seine Verdienste im Umweltschutz mit dem Alternativen Nobelpreis ausgezeichnet.
