Fabio Feldmann, Executive Secretary, Paulista Forum on Global Climate Change and Biodiversity; Board of Directors, Greenpeace International
Fabio Feldmann is an environmentalist, consultant, company manager and Executive Secretary of the Paulista Forum on Global Climate Change and Biodiversity. He was founding member and first President of S.O.S. Mata Atlântica Foundation and winner of the “Global 500” prize. He served as board member to many international NGOs including Conservation International and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and nowadays serves, among others, as board member at Greenpeace International, The Nature Conservancy (Brazil), and Friends of the Earth Brazil. He was a Federal Legislator for three consecutive terms (1986–1998) and was the main author of the environment chapter in the text of the Brazilian Federal Constitution. He was appointed Secretary for the Environment of the State of São Paulo (1995–1998), Executive Secretary of Brazilian Forum on Climate Change and served as personal representative of the Brazilian President on Rio+10.
