Rob van Riet, Coordinator Peace and Disarmament

Rob joined the World Future Council's London office in February 2010. After graduating with Honours with an M.A. in International Law from the University of Amsterdam in November 2008, he interned at the Dutch Permanent Delegation to UNESCO in Paris, which offered him a valuable opportunity to work on a variety of interesting topics in a multilateral environment. Before joining the WFC he worked as an analyst for an international media company in Amsterdam.

Rob coordinates the work of the WFC Disarmament Working Group with the purpose of building up the WFC’s peace and disarmament programme. By spreading future just policies in the disarmament domain, he hopes that important strides toward a more secure, peaceful and just world can be made.
