The WFC offers six-month internships to students and graduates in Germany as well as London and Brussels. Currently you can gain work experience in our Fundraising, Media & Communications, and Climate & Energy departments. Please check out our latest job vacancies.

What happens to my application?

Your details will be automatically saved in a database which can only be accessed by staff. When sending your documents you agree to have your details electronically stored. We use this database to fill positions before we advertise them.

What are the requirements?

  • You have to be enrolled and have completed your third semester of your university degree or have recently completed your studies – preferably in Economics, Business, Political, Environmental or Social Studies
  • Be a motivated team player
  • Be resilient, cooperative and reliable
  • IT-know how

What does the internship entail?

The focus of your daily work will be coordinated by your line manager. Depending on your department this might be:

  • Researching for content, preparing presentations and administrative support (Climate & Energy)
  • Writing press releases, liaise with the media and update the website (Media & Communications)
  • Maintaining the donor database, preparing documents and co-ordinating fundraising events (Fundraising)
