Hubertus Drinkuth, Vice Chairman
After studying economics at the universities in Wurzburg and Cologne, Hubertus Drinkuth started his career in 1996 as a consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich. In 1998 he transferred to the company’s office in Tokyo for two years. After establishing his own e-commerce enterprise in Germany, he returned to Asia in 2002 and was instrumental in developing the Roland Berger Strategy Consultants office in Shanghai. Back in Germany in 2006 he became head of strategy with the Hamburg based Otto Group. In the course of his career, Hubertus Drinkuth has been a consultant to many firms on strategic questions and gained experience in setting up and leading organisations. At present he is working as a managing director of Systain. At the World Future Council he is in charge of the foundation’s strategic development, organising of finances and the efficient administration of the WFC's work. Hubertus Drinkuth is married and has two children.
